We play to see the bigger picture to find a way we can't yet see.

It’s seeing the forest to find a way we can’t yet see through the trees.

It's finding a way when our mechanical and technical skills are not enough.

The 3rd skill is observed rather than measured. Most of us fit between the following two ends of a spectrum.

When we don’t have the 3rd skill we see only what is in our way as we  robotically, mechanically, and efficiently control what we know needs  to be controlled - to do what we know needs to be done.

When we have the 3rd skill we calmingly, timelessly, and effortlessly  connect. A flow, a rhythm, a pattern, a ripple of movement emerges  where we co-create opportunities from the space between us  - that  nobody can yet see.
